I'm Annalena.
Welcome to my virtual art space!
I create wildlife art and custom pet portraits working mainly with pastel, charcoal and graphite. My art is inspired by my love for animals — and my deep connection with cats in particular.
Working in black and white allows me to focus on the shapes, depth and individual nature of the subject.
My goal is to highlight the beauty and special traits of each animal without depicting every little detail — and by this, as well as through the absence of colour, create a calming effect on the viewer.
